As owner of Salon Karma and creator of DKStyle, Danielle Keasling continues to push the boundaries of her profession while maintaining her professionalism and unrivaled reputation. Whether your wanting a full makeover with a professional photo shoot or simply a new hair color for a new season; Danielle constantly strives to deliver the best services and products available in the area.
Danielle has worked in the salon industry for over 13 years. Originally trained and licensed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Danielle made Hilton Head Island and Bluffton her home in 1999. Here she continues to hone her craft and quickly has earned a extensive list of clientele. She has established herself as one of the most sought after hair stylists in South Carolina.
A certified and trained Aveda Stylist, Danielle continued to expand her knowledge by attending many advanced academies such as the Matrix C.R.A.F.T. academy in Solon, Ohio, and Pivot Point International in Chicago, Illinois
In the past decade Danielle has obtained certifications in Elumen color, Goldwell color, Logics color, Aveda color, Bio ionics thermal retexturizing system, Coppola smoothing system, Great Lengths International and USA Hair Extension systems, and Balmain Paris human hair extension systems. She also holds certifications and awards in Matrix C.R.A.F.T., Total Image Systems: in Advanced Hair Designing and Total Imaging, and Advanced Ladies Hair Sculpture and Cutting Systems from Pivot Point International.
Danielle is a sought after Hair Extension Artist. Certified in BOTH thermal and cold fusion Great Lengths 100% Human Hair Extension services. She also offers Swarovski Crystal extension strands, cruelty free feather hair extensions and also AIR Feather extensions.
In December 2011 Danielle was announced a semi finalist in the prestige national level Great Lengths Challenge competition. She was awarded to the top three in the Socialite category amongst over 600 entries for her work in extensions. The competition was judged by celebrity hair stylist's Kim Vo from "Shear Genius", Ted Gibson from "What not to Wear", and celebrity and rock icon Steven Tyler.
Danielle was awarded Top Hair Stylist in Hilton Head Island and Bluffton in 2009 by the Island Packet's Readers Choice Awards. Her abilities enable her to produce hair designs for a broad range of clientele. Instead of preforming one "signature style" Danielle is a master of customization. Focusing on the individual and creating a style that enhances the clients personality.
While working in the salon Danielle realized there was a need for new fashion and trends in Hilton Head Island. With this inspiration Danielle created DKStyle. DKStyle is a team of trained professionals in the beauty industry that work hand in hand with Danielle. DKStyle consist of hair stylists, makeup artists, a skin care specialist, nail tech, and a professional photographer. DKStyle's GET STYLED monthly extreme makeovers for CH2 magazine was born.
Danielle also does work for editorials, runway, marketing campaigns, weddings and local film. She does hair and makeup for many local photographers, modeling agencies and magazines.
